Movement, in a way that works for you.
Whether you're looking to build confidence in your own movement, explore new skills, or take the first steps towards becoming a coach, this course will meet you where you are.
Over four in-person training days, followed by a library of videos, lessons, session ideas and resources you can explore at your own pace. You'll learn how to build practical strength, adaptability, confidence, and connection through movement.
Some come to train, some come to teach, everyone leaves with more confidence, connection, and tools for life.
We focus on real-world movement and you’ll learn skills that translate to everyday life, with plenty of time to ask questions, try things out, and build confidence in your own way.

4 days in-person teaching, plus an online learning library
We blend evidence, coaching experience, and practical outdoor movement that build capability for real life.
We keep our intakes small so there’s time to ask questions, test things out, learn together and answer questions in depth.
You’ll get to know the people around you, and we’ll get to know you and that’s where the magic happens, in shared discovery and hands-on learning.
Days 1 & 2: Movements for life & heuristics
The philosophy behind Movements for Life and how to build practical fitness.
Evidence-based movement and community building theories.
What these movements look and feel like to us and others, and what the limitations and barriers might be.
We explore theories of well-being and how we can bring more people outdoors to spend time together, building stronger, more resilient communities.
Days 3 & 4: Coaching confidence & skill
Learning how to think critically about movement selection.
Session planning for different populations.
Learning how to troubleshoot.
Finding a balance - building your support network and your coaching confidence.
Peer-led, practical coaching workshops
How to start building your community using our Coaching Pathway toolkit.
Your learning continues after the course
Most courses finish when the weekend ends, this is where the real learning begins.
After the in-person teaching, you'll receive access to a range of ongoing learning opportunities including:
Lifetime access to online learning resources
Video tutorials and demonstrations
Session ideas and coaching examples
Access to the WildStrong community
Future updates and learning materials
The goal is to continue developing your skills, confidence and understanding over time.
Everyone joins the same four-day training
but follows their own pathway
Together we'll explore practical movement, learning, confidence, adaptability and community. You'll leave with new skills, new perspectives and a supportive group of people to continue learning alongside.
After that, you can choose the pathway that best matches your goals. Some people join because they want to reconnect with their own movement and continue learning for themselves. Others know they want to coach, facilitate and support others.

Unlike most fitness courses, we focus on real movement for real life—not just gym exercises. Our training is practical, adaptable, and designed to work in the real world.
And unlike other movement courses, we don’t just teach you ‘cool movements’—we give you the skills and confidence to work at the community level and help more people get outside, spend time with others, and move more. This is not about athletic prowess; it’s about realising what you’re capable of and helping others do the same.
We are not tied to one discipline—we integrate strength training, mobility, parkour, and evidence-based coaching methods. WildStrong is a jumping-off point, not a fixed system. We give you the tools to explore, adapt, and develop your own coaching style, taking what’s meaningful and making it your own. Unlike most fitness courses, we focus on real movement for real life—not just gym exercises. Our training is practical, adaptable, and designed to work in the real world, not just a studio.

Yes! The Movement Trainer is designed for people who are new to coaching. We provide all the tools, support, and confidence-building you need to become a great movement coach. Some of the best coaches we’ve ever met are those that don’t come to movement easily and so have an embedded and intrinsic understanding of the barriers that others might face when starting to move more.
-
Absolutely, if you decided during the course that you would like access to all the bonuses available to Movement Trainers, you’re welcome to upgrade by paying the difference.

A Personal Training Qualification focuses on gym-based training, structured exercise programmes, and one-to-one client assessments. It’s often centered around individual performance, strength, and fitness goals within a gym environment.
WildStrong takes a broader, community-driven approach to movement coaching. We integrate theories of well-being, play, and social connection to create movement experiences that are inclusive, adaptable, and designed for real life.
✅ Not just workouts, but movement for life – Learn how to coach strength, balance, and resilience in everyday settings, not just the gym.
✅ Built on well-being science – We draw from positive psychology, self-determination theory, and community-building research to help people stay active long-term.
✅ Community-first coaching – Instead of focusing only on individual progress, we teach peer coaching, social learning, and movement in groups.
✅ Inclusive & adaptable – Learn how to support diverse populations, using emergent learning and play-based methods. If you want to help people move more, not just exercise more, and build a supportive movement community, WildStrong is for you.
